Man we grew up uh watching the best man watching uh you know uh great movies like you know uh eddie murphy richard pryor sylvester stallone rambo i grew up watching going to the movies been watching great movies and uh so i always wanted to uh you know i knew the way to get into the movie business it’s going through becoming a comedian right and uh and then watching you know great comedians like i said uh with uh richard prior eddie murphy and the way they polly stand up comedy into movies uh i thought i could do that uh but i just uh you know stayed in the clubs man and then all the great comedians that was around too man influence we influenced each other you know in my generation man and that hard work in the comedy clubs every night uh i was ready when i got into when i was ready we had the opportunity to do a movie uh do fridays or whatever um you know i was ready. Because all those years in the club and touring and stuff like that so so so film was always the end goal oh yeah yeah cause i saw it you know every time eddie murphy stepped out on the scene you know i going into the movies with my family man and i would see eddie uh in a scene or richard pryor and stir crazy right uh i said man i was just fascinated with it i didn’t know at that time that that’s what i wanted to do but uh i knew when i when i found out stand-up comedy is something i was good at i could i can go and i could do that too you know the movie stuff man that’s now what told you you could do stand up were you a class clown or repeated class clown like i was yeah man i was i was a class clown but i didn’t know i was funny people would just they would say i was funny and they would start laughing i’m like what you’re laughing at man you’re crazy what you talking about i did uh.
